Our planning & managing the move day service is unique

We will »

• manage the removal company
• on moving day collect the keys from the estate agent or rental company
• advise the utility companies of your leaving and arriving property meter readings
• unpack essentials in the bathroom
• make up beds and put basic groceries in the fridge
• arrange for your post to be redirected and any newspaper / milk deliveries redirected or cancelled
• provide you with a moving notification checklist to remind you of all those people you need to notify of your new address

Following our initial meeting (see how we work for more information), we will prepare a working brief. This will include details of the services that we will provide both before and on the move day. Once you are happy with the brief and confirm you wish us to proceed, we will arrange to meet you at the home you are leaving and also, where possible, at the home you are moving to. This will enable us to discuss where you want furniture placing etc. We will arrange quotes for the removal van, complete a move day questionnaire so we know make sure we have all your requirements and discuss your requirements for any additional services that may make the move easier and more stress free for you.
